Cricket’s diversity makes it top company to work for
posted by Joe on March 30th, 2009 - 7:48 am | Cricket
Does it matter to the consumer if a company is considered good to work for? I’m not so sure. A happy employee might be a helpful employee, but even then that employee might not be able to help you. So while it’s nice to hear that Cricket has been named a top 100 company to work for, I’m not so sure it means a better experience for the end user. It certainly doesn’t hurt, though.
The award comes from SaVoy Professional magazine, and was awarded to Cricket because of the company’s dedication to diversity. In fact, Cricket has what they call a Diversity Council, “which leads the development, implementation and measurement of diversity, inclusion and cultural awareness action plans.”
“We value and encourage the contributions of our employees and strive to create an environment where everyone can reach their full potential, driving outstanding results and delivering measurable benefits to our employees, customers and shareholders,” said Dawn Martin, director of diversity inclusion and culture initiatives. “The steps Cricket has taken to drive its diversity and inclusion strategy across the organization are evidence of its solid senior leadership commitment.”
Congratulations to Cricket and its happy employees.
