Cricket announced a partnership with Sprint that amounted to something of an MVNO agreement. Cricket would continue to use its own network, but it would be able to offer customers roaming support on Sprint’s nationwide network. As of today that includes 3G data on Cricket’s smartphone lineup, including the Kyocera Zio, the Huawei Ascend, and the BlackBerry Curve 8530. That helps overcome one of Cricket’s biggest obstacles in offering a nationwide network. Next up: activating new accounts in these new roaming markets. ]]>
