Cricket launches Muve Music in Las Vegas

When we last checked in with Cricket‘s Muve Music, we heard it was delayed. It wouldn’t be long, we were told, just until the end of the month. I guess the 20th constitutes the end of the month. Today Cricket launched the service in Las Vegas. The plan costs $55 per month, and along with unlimited music downloads it also includes unlimited minutes, unlimited messaging, unlimited web browsing and email, and more. It is compatible only with the Samsung Sueded, a new handset that will cost $199. After the jump we’ll repost a video review of the service, plus list some of the features.

From the press release on Muve Music’s features:

·         Get Music: Houses music “storefront” to make it easy for customers to search, explore and download unlimited songs, ringtones and ringback tones.

·         My Music: Organizes downloaded music automatically and lets customers create playlists, cut custom ringtones and more, for an easy and truly personal music listening experience

·         My DJ: Creates playlists organized by genre, and sends them to the phone so customers easily discover new music they enjoy without searching.

·         Get Social: Connects customers with friends and other Muve Music users so they can share what they’re listening to, download playlists, view ringtones and more.

·         Shazam: Identifies song title and artist instantly, and links to Get Music so the song can be downloaded with the touch of a single button.

If you live in the Las Vegas area, you can get the Suede and Muve Music at a Cricket outlet, or at Cricket’s website.
