Cricket launches LTE in Las Vegas

Yesterday Cricket announced its latest LTE market: Las Vegas, Nevada. As we learned last week, this is just the first among many new markets for Cricket in the near future. They plan to announce additional LTE markets next month. For now Cricket is offering LTE only as a mobile broadband service, ranging from $35 to $80 per month depending on amount of LTE-speed data. The only compatible device at the moment is the Huawei Boltz modem, which costs $150. Cricket expects to release LTE handsets next month.
