Yesterday Cricket announced the follow-up to the TXTM8, the TXTM8 3G — that’s pronounced text-mate. It’s very similar to the original. Except, of course, that it does provide EVDO data speeds. The QWERTY handset also has a 2 megapixel camera and microSD expansion up to 16GB. If it ran Android it would actually be a pretty sweet handset. It’s definitely a bargain at $80, though. I just got the phone it does NOT have a micro sd slot as advertised.
Dumbass , take the back cover off, remove the battery , the slot is right there 😛
