Keep customers around with better service, not contracts

Great little ditty by Lea Rush over at Tech Republic regarding cell providers and their constantly-upgrading data systems. She thinks that with all the new technologies being rolled out, it’s silly to sign a two-year contract. After all, another company could upgrade and have something better the day after you sign up with a competitor. Axing the contract would meant that service providers would be compelled to keep upgrading in order to keep customers. Right on, we say.
