I just found out that the free roaming is only if you are on their network. How dumb is that? I mean if you are on their network you are NOT roaming. I agree with the poster above who said if you are traveling interstate (and even this is limited to east coast mostly) you might get service. No roaming fee to me means nationwide not only when you are on their network.

I travel and have no service in many areas and thought free roaming meant on other networks. Tonight the Boost customer service girl called me and informed me this is not the case. If you are out of range of their towers, you are out of luck. In plain English there is no roaming and therefore I guess it IS free. No roaming therefore no roaming fees?

I am extremely disappointed in this as I believe their claim of no roaming fees is a joke and very misleading. What they should tell you is no sevice if not on their network PERIOD!!!

I just got mine. I'm having issues as I threw 100 dollars into the account; website said it would be about four hours, and it has been five. It's as if my money disappeared into the ether. It is gone from my bank account. Obviously I cannot call customer service without a phone so I must wait till tomorrow. It is aggravating but the new rumor, as in phone, is pretty sweet.

boost is not unl. if you go to the website and look under disclaimer it says unl service is limited to reasonable use. you might ask what that means a little research showed that 7000 minutes incoming and outgoing and text incoming and outgoing that add up to 7000 your service with boost will be cut off. not only that have you looked at the coverage map on the website. zoom in to a particular state, coverage is ok as long as you live and drive along the interstate. if you live or dive through a rural area around the country good luck on getting service, 911 does not even work in areas were coverage is lacking. i guess that what you get when using nextels older towers that sprint took over. 50$ a month you get want you pay for.

I saw somewhere online that the delayed texting was suppose to be fixed like mid May or something. Is it fixed yet? I'm thinking about getting on this but not if the texting is that rediculous.

I just got the unlimited plan last week. No issues so far at all. The only weird part is when a text comes in, it doesn't always show you who it's from. That is really strange. Also, if you sign into the website, you cannot view your call details - meaning, who was called or who texted etc. that is a feature they really need!

I recently signed up for this unlimited plan and have been greatly disappointed. The texts do take quite a while to get to the receiver. The calls do get dropped and the reception is very unpredictable. The chirping doesn't always work either. I definitely regret signing up with Boost as their service is hardly worth my $50.00, their is a company called Cricket that is growing rapidly and I am going to give them a try as they have inexpensive prepaid plans as well!

I'm a text kind of guy. I don't even talk on the phone anymore, it's all about texting. What I've heard is that boost has a delay on text response. That you don't get your text till about an hour or two after it was sent. Has anyone else had this problem??
