UPDATED: Boost to Add LG Tribute 2 and LG Volt 2 Soon

Update: Both phones are now available from Boost Mobile! Check them out at Boost’s site. Rumors suggest that Boost Mobile will soon be adding the successors to two of its devices in the coming weeks: the LG Tribute 2 and the LG Volt 2. Prepaid Phone News suggests that both devices should hit Boost Mobile on June 29. These low-end devices are a slight upgrade over their predecessors, but still lack some of the solid mid-range specs that we’d all like to see. Here are some of the specs you can expect on these phones: LG Tribute 2

• Android 5.1
• Enhanced Tri-band LTE support
• 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
• 1 GB RAM
• 8 GB memory
• 5 MP rear camera, VGA front camera

LG Volt 2

• Android 5.1
• Enhanced Tri-band LTE support
• 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
• MicroSD slot up to 32 GB (memory not listed)
• 8 MP back camera, 5 MP front camera

When Boost makes an official announcement, I am sure we’ll get a better look at the specs to decide what to suspect. I’d be surprised if the LG Volt 2 has more than 1 GB of RAM or 8 GB memory, but it doesn’t seem to be listed in the leak that Prepaid Phone News reported on. However, looking at these specs, I expect an experience similar to the previous versions, which means entry-level.]]>
