Boost Increases AutoPay Data

As the prepaid price war heats up, Sprint-owned Boost Mobile has announced the upcoming launch of a new Data Boost plan that is sure to get more reliable auto pay customers to their doorstep. Launching on Feb. 3, this low-cost plan is currently one of the best on the market. While the plan requires auto pay to sign up, it rewards customers with more high speed data than other similarly-priced plans every month. The new Data Boost plan will only cost $35 per month and includes unlimited talk, text and low speed data with a full 2.5 GB of high speed data to use each month–that’s 1.5 GB more than the current $35 plan Boost offers. This plan is available for all current and new customers, as long a they are enrolled in auto pay. Un-enrolling in auto pay will automatically disqualify you for the plan and reduce you to their other $35 plan which only includes 1 GB of data. Here is what the Boost Mobile plan lineup looks like right now:
  • $35 – Unlimited talk, text, data; 1 GB high speed
  • $35 with autopay – Unlimited talk, text, data; 2.5 GB high speed
  • $45 – Unlimited talk, text, data; 5 GB high speed
  • $55 – Unlimited talk, text, data; 10 GB high speed
In addition to this new autopay plan, Boost Mobile has introduced two incentives to get more people over to their Sprint-powered network:
  1. New customers who sign up for the $35 plan with auto pay and port over a number can get up to $100 off of any new Boost Mobile phone.
  2. All customers who sign up with Boost Mobile and do not port a number can get the first month of service free
Both promotions are expected to be good until the end of March, but the promotions are really only available at Boost stores–not online or at partners like Best Buy or Target. For more information, check out the Boost Mobile website.]]>
