4G LTE could be coming to Boost, Virgin Mobile soon

Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, this year. They have not only rolled out more than a dozen new smartphones between them, but they’ve also gained 4G WiMax connectivity (in available markets, on available handsets, of course). We could see yet another big jump in the near future. Android and Me has a source that sent along marketing material for Boost LTE, and claims that the same service is coming to Virgin Mobile as well. There is no real timeline for this, but apparently Sprint said earlier this year that both brands would eventually get LTE. Combined with Boost’s rumored BYOD program, we could see some big movement from the Sprint prepaid brands. ]]>

Be great to see. Virgin wimax offers speeds at almost wifi levels. The S2 is a good handset but it would be nice to see New phones on pre-paid. Virgin regularly sells the 960*540 4.3″ dual core HTC EVO V for $239.00. It’s 1.2gh chip is speedy and stable. For my dough it’s the best phone on pre-paid. What do you think?

It would be great to see the iPhone 5 come to Virgin with the addition of LTE.
