Alltel, Clintons linked to Satanism
posted by Stuart on August 23rd, 2007 - 12:00 pm | Alltel
Just watch that new Alltel commercial. Apparently, the actress talking to “Chad” dons pentagram earrings. Yes, the same pentagram that is often associated with Satan and the occult. Unfortunately, this is a gross misconception. The pentagram “has been important to almost every ancient culture, from the Mayans of Latin America, to India, China, Greece, and Egypt.” This apparently doesn’t matter to World Net Daily, who used the commercial as a lead-in to bash the Clintons.
After mentioning the pentagram bit, which ludicrous in itself, the web publication launched straight into an attack on the Clintons.
Alltel, an Arkansas-based company, has long ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Little Rock Rose Law Firm and has been shrouded in mystery and intrigue since its inception.
It’s so obvious now! Pentagram=satanic; Alltel=pentagram; Alltel=Clintons. Therefore, pentagram=Clintons. QED.
The rest of the article is an unabashed attack on the Clintons, surely with a political agenda. We tend not to discuss our politics, especially on blogs of other subject matters, and we won’t stray from that ideal. But we have to say: Eff you, World Net Daily. This is untenable propaganda, and of the worst kind, because the connection between the pentagram and Satanism is just as strong as the symbol’s connection with Christianity (where the five points represent the five wounds of Jesus).
Just effing ridiculous.
