With the massive number of prepaid MVNOs and carrier options, it’s sometimes hard to keep track of it all and even harder to compare and decide which company is the right one for you. So, every once in a while we’re going to go through and do a Face-off of two popular companies, comparing plans and services to help you better decide.

Today, we’ll look at H2O Wireless and Boom Mobile. H2O Wireless is the more established of the two and is known for some fantastic deals. While Boom is newer, however, it has more offerings and currently carriers plans from all four major carriers.

Republic Wireless Offering 6 Months Free Service

Sprint and T-Mobile MVNO Republic Wireless debuted a new promotion this week that could land customers with six months of free (or nearly free) service. The promotion was launched tomorrow and is aimed at customers who purchase a SIM card between today and May 22, 2017 and activate that service anytime before June 6, 2017.

ROK Mobile Changes Tune and Adds Sprint Back To Partner List

We haven’t really talked much about ROK Mobile in a while because, well, there really wasn’t much to say. The carrier burst onto the scenes and made lots of waves in 2014 as a Sprint and T-Mobile carrier. Then, a year after launching, it added Verizon and quickly dropped both Sprint and T-Mobile. Since then, the company has been pretty quiet.

But, it looks like ROK Mobile is finally changing its tune and has re-added Sprint to its lineup.

AT&T’s prepaid MVNO Cricket Wireless recently increased the data on its next-to-lowest cost plan in an effort to be slightly more competitive. While the change is for the positive, however, it doesn’t seem like it’s quite enough to help push Cricket back to the limelight.

Sprint’s Boost Mobile has launched a new promotion aimed at customers with at least four lines of service. With this promotion, customers can get unlimited, talk, text, and high speed data on all four lines for $100. The promotion is available until the first of June, 2017.
