EcoMobile Introduces Two New Plans

eco

EcoMobile, an MVNO operating on 3 of the 4 main carrier networks, recently added two new plans to its lineup. These plans are lower cost than what is currently in place, and seems to be geared more to the low-data user. All of the plans are available on Sprint, Verizon’s, and T-Mobile’s network.

With the massive number of prepaid MVNOs and carrier options, it’s sometimes hard to keep track of it all and even harder to compare and decide which company is the right one for you. So, every once in a while we’re going to go through and do a Face-off of two popular companies, comparing plans and services to help you better decide.

Today, we’ll look at  two MVNO’s that use Sprint and Verizon’s network, Ready Mobile and Expo Mobile. While it’s nice that Ready Mobile uses a build your own plan idea, it’s really expensive for someone who needs unlimited talk and text. And, while Expo Mobile uses a more traditional style of plans, the company is lacking value for the heavy data user.

Wednesday App Review: Pixel Dungeon

pixel-dungeon

I was never really into video games much when I was a kid, but I have an older brother who was a huge fan. I used to sit on his bed and draw or read while he played his NES games and, most of the time, I’d end up spending more time watching him play (and cheering on the bad guys) than anything else. SpeedTalk Mobile Overview

speedtalk

A smaller T-Mobile MVNO, SpeedTalk Mobile, was recently brought to my attention as being a great option for customers who don’t use their phones constantly. More and more prepaid companies are gravitating to the high data user and trying to give you more bang for your buck that those who need only a few minutes or texts are becoming overlooked. With that thought in mind, today I’d like to do an overview of SpeedTalk Mobile. The company has four different sets of plans available, three of which appeal greatly to customers who don’t need unlimited everything.

Today, we’ll look at Ting, a T-Mobile and Sprint MVNO, and FreedomPop, which operates using Sprint and AT&T’s network. Since both companies operate using a CDMA and GSM carrier, I thought it would be a good match-up.

Here’s how they compare:
