Verizon Wireless Prepaid Data Plans & Rates

Verizons Wireless prepaid data plans are pretty simple to remember. If it has data–and all of the plans that are not pay-as-you-go do–then it has 500 MB included in the price. Nice and easy. However, it can sometimes be hard to figure out exactly how much you can do with that amount. It certainly doesn't sound like a lot of data.

Well, if you are a heavy data user, or simply concerned about going over, then Verizon Wireless prepaid has a pretty cool deal called Bridge Data. Bridge data is designed for users who occasionally need a little extra data. You can purchase up to two additional data packages during any monthly plan cycle. Each bundle will act as a separate add-on, so if you add two bundles, the first bundle will be used up entirely before the second bundle is touched.

For bridge data, you have three options:

  • $5 – 500 MB, expires in 30 days
  • $10 – 1 GB, expires in 90 days
  • $20 – 3 GB, expires in 90 days

So no matter how much or little data you use, Verizon Wireless prepaid has you covered for a pretty decent cost. And, if you have trouble figuring out exactly how much extra you will need, you can check out our article demystifying data allotments here or check out Verizon's handy data calculator here.
